Shriya Saran

Shriya Saran is a popular Indian film actress and model. She acted in several Indian regional films like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. She is also worked in some English films. She is one of the most successful actresses in India.

Saran was born on 11 September 1982 in Uttarakhand, India. Her parents are Pushpendra (service holder) and Neeraja Saran (teacher). She was passed her childhood at a small toun BHEL colony in Haridwar.
Saran started her film career in 2001 by the Telugu film Ishtm. Her first business successes film is Santhosham. Her first Bollywood film is Awarapan where she played a critical role in 2007. Her first English film is American-Indian where she played the lead role.
Saran won several awards during her film career. Some of these South Scope Style Award in 2008, Stardust Exciting New Face Award in 2009, Amrita Mathrubhumi  Award in 2010, ITFA Best Actress Award in 2011 and many more.
